Leader in France and very present internationally, the family business, specialist in surface protection and visual communication, wants to increase its production capacity by 20% and strengthen innovation.
On London Underground or TGV trains, for marking textiles or vehicle wrapping and for anti-graffiti protection, Hexis adhesive films are everywhere. With annual growth of between 6% and 10%, and five production lines, "almost saturated", according to Caroline Mateu, the president of this company which achieves 120 million euros in turnover (2021), the need for extension is felt.
Hexis plans to invest between 15 and 20 million euros in the construction of a 2,580 m2 building in Frontignan (Hérault), where its head office is located. "The objective is to increase production capacity by 20% and to create an adhesive coating line", specifies Clément Mateu, Managing Director.
At the end of the day, the creation of 16 jobs. Delivery is scheduled for 2025; the project requires moving the parking lot and the road. A workshop for mixing and storing dangerous liquids is being delivered, with support from France Reliance to the tune of 800,000 euros.
