The commonly used type of car coating glue is solvent-based acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive, because it not only has excellent UV resistance and aging resistance, but also can maintain stable bonding in both high and low temperature ranges, good solvent resistance and excellent chemical resistance.
2. What are the main performance evaluation indicators of car coating glue?

Initial tack: refers to the adhesion of pressure-sensitive adhesive in a very short period of time after being pressurized. A very strong bond is indicated when a very strong bond can be produced with very little pressure and a short period of contact. It determines whether the construction personnel can repeatedly apply the construction and present a perfect construction effect.
Adhesion: The ability of the pressure-sensitive adhesive to continue to resist persistent shear creep damage after it has adhered to an object. The stronger the stickiness, the better the adhesion of the car coating film and the less easy it will fall off.
Peel Force: Peel strength is the force required to peel the adhesive line off a standard substrate at a constant rate and angle. How much N is needed for the peel strength of the car coat, as shown in the figure below:
Cohesion: refers to the strength of the inside of the colloid, as a protective film of the colloidal cohesion must be very high, otherwise when the film is torn, the internal cracking of the colloid will cause residual glue.
The test standards for aging performance are xenon lamp aging resistance, heat aging resistance, and moisture aging resistance.
Adhesion to the substrate: The adhesion between the colloid and the substrate.
At present, there is a test directly related to glue in the paint protection film industry standard that has not been officially released, that is, the 180° peel strength of the car coat should be ≥ 5H/25mm after 72 hours.

3. How to quickly judge the quality of the adhesive layer?
When buying invisible car clothing products, there are actually some small ways to test the quality of the adhesive line.
Smell it: A good glue is odorless or has a slight smell, and a bad quality glue will have a pungent smell.
Touch: Feel the viscosity of the adhesive layer with your hands, if you find that it is particularly sticky, it must not be a good glue.
Rub it: Take a small piece of car coating film, rub the glue layer with your fingers, if you can easily rub it off, it proves that there is more residual glue, not good glue.
Sticky and sticky: fold the glue surface in half, and paste each other many times, if there is no glue drop, it means that the quality of the glue layer is fine.
