Nupro LLC, a maker of thermoplastic polyurethane protective films, is set to at least double its production capacity at its headquarters plant in South Deerfield, Mass.
A new 124,680-square-foot facility complements existing operations in South Deerfield. Once completed, the company plans to consolidate operations at that site.
Nupro plans to invest up to $10 million in new manufacturing equipment and create about 60 new jobs.
The Massachusetts Economic Aid Coordinating Council has approved $580,000 in tax credits for the project through its Economic Growth Incentive Program. A 10-year tax increase financing plan worth more than $300,000 has been approved by its hometown of South Deerfield.
