WYANDOTTE, MI, January 31, 2022 – BASF will increase prices for all thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) products in North America by $0.59/lb for orders shipping on or after February 15, 2022, or as contracts allow.
At the same time, Lubrizol also increased their TPU resin prices due to the upstream raw material cost change. Recently the tense situation between Russia and Ukraine made the world oil prices increased continuously, so all chemical products related with oil prices also increased.
Paint protection film main raw material TPU film is made from TPU resin, so probably if the situation will not change in short time, PPF prices probably will be increased too.
