On November 19-20, 2020, the Safety Glass Subcommittee of the National Automotive Standardization Technical Committee (hereinafter referred to as the Safety Glass Subcommittee) organized the "Automotive Paint Protective Film" and "Functional Film for Automotive Glass" industries in Shanghai. A total of more than 50 representatives from the member units of the Safety Glass Sub-Bidder Committee, standard drafting units and related enterprises attended the conference. As the main manufacturer and standard drafting unit of domestic automobile paint protective film and functional film for automobile glass, Dingxin Films participated in this meeting.
In recent years, with the continuous growth of automobile sales and ownership, and the increasing attention paid to automobile maintenance, the demand for automobile paint protective film and functional film for automobile glass has also been increasing sharply. According to incomplete statistics, there are as many as thousands of domestic automotive film brands. In order to better regulate industry standards and create a formalized market environment, the continuous maturity and improvement of industry standards is particularly important.
This meeting mainly accepted the review of the two industry standards of "Automotive Paint Protective Film" and "Functional Film for Automotive Glass". All members answered questions raised by experts on the standard text. The successful convening of this meeting completed the standard review task, unified the consensus of the committee members, and laid a solid foundation for further deepening the construction and revision of the standard system in the field of automotive protective film and functional film.
