The following are common problems and solutions in sputtering film:
1, film gray black or dark.
● vacuum degree less than 0.67Pa; The vacuum degree should be increased to 0.13-0.4Pa.
● Argon purity less than 99.9%; Argon should be replaced with a purity of 99.99%.
● Air leakage of inflation system; The inflation system should be checked to eliminate air leakage.
● The film is not fully cured; The curing time of the film should be appropriately extended.
● The amount of gas discharged by the plating parts is too large; Should be dried and sealed.
2. The surface of the paint film is dull.
● Poor curing or deterioration of the film; The curing time of the film should be extended or the primer replaced.
● Magnetron sputtering time is too long; The construction time should be shortened appropriately.
● Magnetron sputtering film forming speed is too fast; Magnetron sputtering current or voltage should be appropriately reduced.
3, film color is not uniform.
● Uneven primer spraying; The use of primer needs to be improved.
● Film layer is too thin; The magnetron sputtering rate should be appropriately increased or the magnetron sputtering time should be extended.
● Fixture design is unreasonable; Fixture design should be improved.
● The plating geometry is too complex; The speed of plating parts should be appropriately increased.
4, wrinkle, cracking.
● primer spray too thick; The thickness of the spray should be controlled.
● Coating viscosity is too high; The viscosity of the coating should be properly reduced.
● Evaporation speed is too fast; The evaporation rate should be slowed down appropriately.
● Film layer is too thick; The sputtering time should be appropriately shortened.
● Plating temperature is too high; The heating time of plating parts should be appropriately shortened.
5, film surface watermarks, fingerprints and ash particles
● plated parts after cleaning is not sufficiently dry; Pretreatment should be strengthened.
● Splash water or saliva on the surface of the plating; Strengthen civilized production, operators wear masks.
● After primer, hand contact plated parts, leaving fingerprints on the surface; Do not touch the plating surface with your hands.
● Particulate matter should be filtered or dusted.
● Electrostatic dust removal failure or spray curing environment with particulate dust; The dust collector should be replaced and the working environment cleaned.
